The famous musical instruments and anecdotes of Zino FrancescThe famous musical instruments and anecdotes of Zino Franceschettihetti
Zino Franceschetti was a representative figure of the French violin school in the 20th century and was hailed as the most outstanding French violinist after Jacques Thibaud. He was born on August 9, 1902 in Marseille, France. Coming from a musical family, he showed prodigious talent at a young age. He made his debut at the age of 5 and performed Beethoven's violin concerto at the age of 10. His artistic career spanned the entire mid-20th century and he was the direct successor of Paganini's playing skills. His playing style is known for its "elegance, precision, and warmth", with flawless technique but without showing off. His tone is as smooth as silk, and he is particularly skilled at expressing the delicacy and romance of French works. He used a Stradivarius violin "Eagle" made in 1727, and the sound was warm and beautiful, complementing his restrained and poetic interpretation. Compared with other contemporaries, he did not pursue exaggerated drama or dazzling technical displays, but instead presented himself as a "perfect violinist" to win the audience, emphasizing the internal logic of music and the natural expression of emotions. He had close relationships with many composers and premiered works by Bernstein, Poulenc, and others, and formed a deep friendship with Ravel. He was not only a performer but also a composer, creating several violin works. What is less known is that his original name was René-Chaël Franceschetti. His father was a student of Paganini, which immersed him in the Italian violin tradition from an early age, but he ultimately became a pillar of the French school.

Today in the history of music
Zino Francescati was born in Marseille, France on August 9, 1902.
Zino Francescatti (August 9,1902 -- September 17, 1991) was born in Marseille, France. Francesca was born in a musical family. His father Reni was the direct descendant of Saint Paganini. Francesca showed her talent as a child prodigy. One of the top violinists of France from the 1940s to the 1960s, Francesca was an artistically charismatic and influential figure. His life in the violin playing career has won great honor, from the point of view of a perfect violinist, has always been the hearts of the masses of people in the eyes of the most worship and love one of the idols.
Francesca is a master violinist with typical style and amazing skill. He is another French violinist who has made great waves in the world after Tibbo. However, this was not enough. Since his father was the student of Camillo Sivoli, Paganini's only true disciple, and Francescati's only true teacher was his father, francescati became paganini's authentic successor in the art of modern violin playing. It also gives Francesca a rich and charming touch of romance.
Francesca's notes should be one of the most personal and recognizable. His pronunciation was perhaps unique, and the intuitive feeling was that it was fine and clear, like a ringing silver bell; The chords are also a bit "intense", but not as rich as the Hefferts and Ehrmans.Overtones are also very, very beautiful. The low and middle ranges have a quality as bright and clean as the high ones, while the high ones have an indescribable beauty that seems to glow.Although the "texture" is slim, the technique of the left hand and the excellent bowing of the right hand create an extremely rich level of timbre and strength. The bow is cleaner.
Zino Francesca used the Eagle, a 1727 Stradivarius with a warm and beautiful sound. He also wrote several pieces of music for the violin.
Beethoven and Brahms Violin Concerto by Zino Francescatti (1902-1991);2. Beethoven No. 9 Sonata for violin in A major, Op. 47 "Kreutzer";3. Beethoven Sonata no. 10 in G Major, Op. 96;4. Beethoven, Romance, Op. 40, Romance, Op. 2, 50. Bazini, Dance of the Goblins, Op. 25.

Michael Rabin, as a master of the violin, couldn't have achieved his success without the guidance and support of his mentors. The picture here shows Zino Francescatti instructing Rabin in his playing.

Michael Rabin (May 2, 1936 – January 19, 1972) was an American violinist. He has been described as "one of the most talented and tragic violin virtuosi of his generation". His complete Paganini "24 Caprices" for solo violin are available as a single CD, and an additional six CD set contains most of his concerto recordings. Despite his brief career—he died at 35—they remain seminal recordings of each of the pieces.

Michael Rabin was of Romanian-Jewish descent. His mother Jeanne was a Juilliard-trained pianist, and his father George was a violinist in the New York Philharmonic. He began to study the violin at the age of seven. His parents encouraged his musical development. After a lesson with Jascha Heifetz, the master advised him to study with Ivan Galamian, who said he had "no weaknesses, never." He began studies with Galamian in New York and at the Meadowmount School of Music and the Juilliard School. His Carnegie Hall debut took place in January 1950, at the age of 13, as soloist with the National Orchestral Association, playing Vieuxtemps' Concerto No. 5 under the direction of Léon Barzin. Subsequently, he appeared with a number of American orchestras before his Carnegie Hall debut on 29 November 1951, at the age of 15, in the Paganini D major Concerto, with Dimitri Mitropoulos conducting the New York Philharmonic. His 1958 recording of this concerto is considered by many to be the most impressive recording of this work, and the recording itself is notable for the full tone captured by the audio engineers.

Jean Fournet, ardent defenser of French symphonic and operatic repertoire, was born on 14 April 1913. Flutist, as was his father, he was named second flute in the l'Orchestre du Théâtre des Arts in his native city of Rouen, at the age of 15, before entering the conducting class of Philippe Gaubert at the Paris Conservatoire, where he studied from from 1930-36. He made his conducting début at Rouen in 1936, and held his first appointments there (1938) and in Marseilles (1940). In 1944 he became director of music at the Opéra-Comique in Paris, where he remained for 13 years until 1957. The same year he took over the conducting class at the Ecole Normale de Musique in Paris, continuing to teach there until 1962. Fournet first conducted in Holland in 1950 with the Concertgebouw Orchestra filling in for an indisposed Eduard van Beinum. That same year he first appeared with the Netherlands Radio Philharmonic Orchestra and was appointed their principal conductor eleven years later, a position he held until 1968. He served as music director of the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra 1968-1973. Since that time he regurally returned to the Netherlands as guest conductor, the 2000/2001 season being the fiftieth anniversary of his collaboration with the Netherlands Radio Philharmonic Orchestra.
He made studio or concert recordings of over 600 works during his official tenure with the NRPO. He was moreover the conductor of the newly created Orchestre National de l'Ile de France from 1973-1982 and of the Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra from 1983-1986.

Fournet enjoyed equally a distinguished career in the opera house, conducting regularly at the Chicago Lyric Opera from 1965-1974. He made his début with the Metropolitan Opera House at the age of 74, conducting Saint-Saens's Samon et Dalila.

Fournet toured as a guest conductor in Europe, North and South America, Israel and Japan (he conducted the premiere performance in Tokyo of Debussy's Pelleas et Mélisande in 1958). His wide repertory laid particular emphasis on the works of Debussy, Ravel, Berlioz and Brahms. He owed his well-deserved reputation to his meticulous and exacting craftsmanship, which he exerted by means of sober and elegant gestures. His many recordings of French music are admired for their restrained sensitivity and their scrupulous attention to detail.

Francescatti's partner, the pianist Robert Casadesus

Robert Casadesus was born in Paris in 1899 and died in Paris in 1972.At the age of ten, Casadesus began to learn piano from his aunt Rose Casadesus. Later, he studied with Germe, liszt's student at the Conservatory of Music in Paris. At the age of fourteen, he won the first prize in piano. As a result of his personal friendship with Ravel, Casadeo played all of Ravel's works in his first recital and repertoire, and in 1927 he and his wife began a series of duet recitals featuring two pianos or four hands.Casadesio made his American debut in 1935 under the command of Arturo Toscanini, and moved to the United States in 1940 where he made his first appearance at Carnegie Hall.Casadecchio returned to Europe in 1946 and became principal of the Conservatory in Fontenblomey, France.Casadeso's numerous recordings include the complete works of Ravel. His music is known for its excellent control techniques and rich timbre. He was also a famous teacher and composer.
Robert Casadecchio is regarded as the last great pianist of the nineteenth century. He was born on April 7, 1899, into a musical family that had spanned several generations. Eight of his nine children were born to grandfather Luis Casadesus, a guitarist himself. His uncle, Francis Casadesus, studied under C. Francesco, a respected conductor and composer of operas, and founded the Academy of American Music at Fontencours, France, where Robert later taught;Another uncle was Henri Casadesus, the viola player of the famous Capet Quartet.Other family members from this generation included Marcel the cellist, Marius the violinist, and Rose Casadecchio, Robert's aunt, who taught him to play the piano.Ironically, Robert's father, a famous stage actor known by his stage name, Robert Casa, was one of the few brothers and sisters who didn't study music. The family musical tradition continues among Robert's children, the most talented of whom is the pianist Jean DE Valles. But his music career ended tragically in a car accident in 1972.
