1866年5月17日,埃里克·萨蒂在翁弗勒出生,父亲是个买卖船只的法国人,母亲是苏格兰人。“艺术家必须生活有规律……我早上7点18分起床。我从上午10点23分到11点47分有灵感。 12点11分,我吃午餐,12点14分离开餐桌。下午1点19分到2点53分,为了身体健康,我去骑马。3点12分到4点07分,是另一段充满创作灵感的时间……晚上8点09分到9点59分,我(大声地)读交响曲。 10点37分是我固定的就寝时间。每周二的凌晨3点1 9分我都会惊醒一次……睡觉的时候,我只闭一只眼睛。”

埃里克·阿尔弗雷德·莱斯利·萨蒂,(Eric Alfred Leslie Satie,1866年5月17日出生,1925年7月1日逝世,后来自己改名为Erik Satie),法国作曲家。代表作品有钢琴曲《玄秘曲3首》《3首萨拉班德》,交响戏剧《苏格拉底》,舞剧《游行》《炫技表演》和《松弛》等。

法国作曲家萨蒂是一位玩世不恭的音乐怪杰。他未采用巴洛克的风格写作,以率直质朴的音乐风格著称,其音乐观点对现代音乐有举足轻重的影响,是新古典主义的先驱。萨蒂反对浪漫主义,也反对印象主义。他对 19 世纪末一直延续到第一次世界大战之际的后期浪漫主义及表现主义的夸张形式十分反感,说“ 不是出自真诚的音符 , 我一个也不写 !”这种简约主义的风格确实为新古典主义乐派奠定了基础。他还认为德彪西的音乐是近视眼中看到的景象,是粉饰太平的海市蜃楼,同时他也不喜欢德彪西那种过于华丽繁复精细的音乐语言,而提倡简单自然、朴实无华的表达。萨蒂喜欢表现怪诞的形象和狂悖的思想。他的全部创作以钢琴作品所占的比例最高,并多为小品。
在萨蒂的钢琴音乐中既没有庞大的气势,也没有浓重的激情,只有简洁而平静的“白话”,然而他的钢琴作品却常冠以奇特或有讽刺意味的标题,如《几百年和一刹那》、《中午的晨曦》、《脱水后的胎儿》、《害牙疼的猫头鹰》等等。他那玩世不恭、辛辣怪诞的作风恰恰与印象主义的艺术风格大相径庭 , 萨蒂最具代表性的钢琴曲《3首梨形小品》就是为了答复德彪西那句 “萨蒂的音乐缺乏形式” 的批评而作的。意即他的作品形式就是梨形。《3首吉姆诺培迪》也是萨蒂的代表佳作。乐曲由单纯的旋律构成逐次反复的乐节,而在低声部支持旋律的仅为一些简单的节奏和单一的调式化和弦。整首曲子的音乐进行淳朴明净、色彩淡雅、毫无虚饰。

Eric Alfred Leslie Satie (born May 17, 1866, died July 1, 1925, later renamed Erik Satie) was a French composer.Representative works include piano music "mystery 3 pieces", "3 pieces of saraband", symphonic drama "Socrates", dance drama "parade", "showpiece" and "relaxation", etc.
Before that, I was only aware of one of his pieces, trouble, which was about 840 repetitions of a two-minute piece of music.
Satie, the French composer, was an irreverent music geek.He did not use the baroque style of writing, is known for his straightforward and simple music style, his music view has a decisive influence on modern music, is the forerunner of neoclassicism.Satie was against romanticism as well as impressionism.He was disgusted by the dramatic forms of late romanticism and expressionism that continued from the end of the 19th century until the end of the first world war.This style of minimalism really laid the foundation for neoclassicism.He also thought that Debussy's music was a vision in the nearsighted eye, a mirage of sugarcoating peace.
